• Hz Abu Bakr e Siddiq ^Rz was the first person who accepted Islam and accepted the fact that Prophet Muhammed ^PBUH is Messenger of Allah ^SWT
• When Prophet Muhammed ^SAW narrated the incident where he was taken from Kabatullah (Mecca) to Masjid e Aqsa (Palestine) and after leading prayer of Prophets had ascended to the heavens and met Allah ^SWT in person, members of quraish tribe mocked him and said how can the distance of Mecca to Palestine, a journey of 6 months can be done within a night. When they came to Hz Abu Bakr ^Rz and told him his friend is making fun of the Prophet ^SAW, Hz Abu Bakr ^Rz said if Prophet Muhammed ^SAW says so then its true. Hence he is called the “Siddiq”.
