DUGANA-E-LAILATUL QADR IN CHICAGO

Dugana-e-Lailatul
Qadr prayers were offered in large congregation in Chicago as usual
under the Imamat of Hazrat Moulana Abulfatah Syed Nusrat Qibla
Tashreefullahi. Mahdavis from Chicago area as well as different places
including Atlanta, South Carolina, Boston, New York, Minnesota, Indiana
etc. especially came in large numbers to offer the prayers.
This years Dugana was organized in Holiday-Inn Hotel a few miles
from MICC Mosque. Like past few years, every time the organizers finds a
new place with larger capacity than the previous ones, people turn in
even large number to make it jam packed and wanting for more space.
Separate arrangement was made for the ladies in the adjacent hall, which
was, also jam-packed. The entire event was well organized and was
conducted in an orderly manner with a number of volunteers offering
helping hand.
In his sermon, Peer wo Murshid, emphasized the importance of being
part of the blessed community, who observes Lailatul Qadr on the 27th of
Ramzan without any doubt unlike others. He said, Allah SWT, on giving
divine knowledge of the exact date of the Qadr Night, Ordained Imamuna
wo Sayyaduna Hazrat Syed Muhammad Mehdi-e-Ma'ud Alaihissalam- The
Promised Mehdi, to offer two rakaths of thanksgiving prayers with the
entire Daira including men, women and children on the night of 27th of
Ramzan. Hence, Mahdavis offer this as an obligatory thanksgiving prayer
. He also cited a number of Ahadiths (Traditions) in support and said,
Prophet Muhammad PBUH, also gathered men, women and children on the
night of 27th of Ramzan and offered prayers until his companions
feared that they might loose Suhur (Sahri).
At the end, Peer wo Murshid, extolled all Mahdavis, especially youths,
to set an example with their practice by following the teachings of
Imamuna AS and prayed for all Mehdavis to become true followers of the
teachings of our Imam, the Promised Mehdi AS. The proceedings came to an
end with Tasbeeh.

Lailatul Qadr in Jeddah

Bismillah Hir-Rahman Nir-Raheem.
As-Salaam Alaikum Woh Rahmatullahi Woh Barakatuhu.
We extend our sincere greetings of Dugaana Lailatul Qadr and Eid-ul-Fitr
to all the Mehdavis.
Further, we congratulate the organisers of Dugaana Lailatul Qadr all
over the world, for making the arrangements for Mehdavis of their
respective regions, to offer this Obligatory Prayer on the Holy Night of
Qadr. Our special greetings are due specifically for the Sydney
(inviting and offering Dugaana behind a Murshid), Denmark and Ireland
organizers, which are the landmarks for this year's Dugaana Lailatul
Qadr. May Allah Bless all the community members involved in organizing
the Dugaana Prayers, and all those attended it, worldwide. Ameen.
Alhamdulillah, the Committee Dair-e-Meeranji AHS - Jeddah is grateful to
Almighty Allah for granting us with the opportunity to organize the
Dugaana Lailatul Qadr prayer in Jeddah for 5th consecutive year in
running. And Alhamdulillah, this was the 4th Dugaana in the last 5 years
to be offered under the Imaamat of a Murshid of Giroh-e-Muqaddasa.
Alhamdulillah 2nd year in a row the gathering for Dugaana Prayer in
Jeddah crossed the mark of 250, including families (last year also, the
gathering was in access of 250 as well).
The Holy Session begins with the Sermon of Hazrath Peer-o-Murshid Syed
Abdul Hai sahab qibla around 1:45 am, and lasted for more than 30
minutes.
Janaab Mohd Nusrat Saeed ibn-e-Arabi sahab appealed to the
brothers and sisters to supplicate Allah Subhana-o-Ta'ala for the
Maghferat of Marhoom Janaab Ameer Ali Khan (expired recently in Jeddah)
and Marhoom Hazrath Syed Abdul Khader Shakeeb (expired in Hyderabad,
couple of months ago), along with others, and seek Allah's Mercy for
them and pray for granting His Deedar.
Then Isha Prayer was offered under the Leadership of Peer-o-Murshid,
followed by the Dugaana Lailatul Qadr "Fazlullahi Ta'ala,
Mutabayetal Mehdi Maud". After Invocations of Dugaana Lailatul Qadr
and Sajda-e-Munajat, the Witr Prayer was offered in congregation.
After the Invocations, Sheerni (sweets) were distributed among the
people and Janaab Mohd Nusrat Saeed ibn-e-Arabi sahab extended the vote
of thanks for Peer-o-Murshid - for accepting our invitation and allowing
us to offer this Blessed Prayer behind a Murshid - and to the Committee
Members for financial contribution throughout the year and physical
contribution for organizing the event, followed by thanks for all the
attendees.
Afterwards, Peer-o-Murshid thanked the Committee for inviting him and
also thanked all the attendees, before proclaiming the Muqaddas TASWEEH.
Then, the arrangement for Sehri were made by the Committee, in the Name
of Allah. And, Fajr Prayer was also offered under the leadership of
Peer-o-Murshid, with few Brothers.
Alhamdulillah, this Farz-e-Ain was accomplished in good spirit, strength
and under spiritual leadership of Peer-o-Murshid Hazrath Syed Abdul Hai
sahab qibla, Moulvi Kamil. May Allah accept our Prayers and efforts for
this year's Dugaana Lailatul Qadr. Aameen.
Insha-Allah Peer-o-Murshid will depart from Jeddah in the morning of 5th
October 2008. In the meantime, he will be visiting Makkah on Monday, and
Wednesday night he will leave for Madinah for 2 days stay, along with a
member of Committee, and will be back late night of Friday.
Special thanks to Janaab Syed Ali Hussain Tersees sahab, who has
been instrumental in all the Mehdavia activities in Jeddah, since past 5
years, and his contribution to the community is incomparable. May Allah
reward him for his service to His Religion. Aameen.

Lailatul Qadr in Riyadh
A Report

Assalam Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barkatahu,
Falah-e-Mahdavia Society, Riyadh would like to congratulate "Dugana
Lailatul Qadar (most blessed, better than 1,000 months) as well as
"Eid-ul-Fitre" to our Madavia brothers and sisters all over
the world.
Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Almighty Allah "Dugana Lailatul
Qadar" was arranged successfully as usual. As per schedule Mahdavia
brothers and sisters have gathered in a large number from various parts
of Riyadh City to perform this highly important prayer. The congregation
prayer was started exactly at 2.00 A.M. under the Imamat of Mr. Syed
Mahmood. Then the attendees were addressed in brief by Mr. Syed
Faizaullah Nayeem, V.P. who puts lights on the holy night of Lailatul
Qadar.
After Tasbeeh Allah Diya, "Sahri" was served.
On behalf of FMS, Riyadh Chapter, I would like to thanks brothers &
sisters who came from different parts of Riyadh to get blessing from
Allah on this auspicious occasion and also want to thank all those
who have extended their co-operation.

Qadr Around The World - A Concise Report

Dugana Lailathul Qadr Mubarak & Greetings for Dugana
Organisers
It is the duty of this humble Khadim of Groh-e-Mehdavia to extend Dugana
Lailathul Qadr Greetings and Mubarak not only to the community brethren
across the world but especially the Organizers across the globe for
hosting this holy event as their religious necessity, may it be the
committees or individuals.
In Dammam, Saudi Arabia, we do not have any Mehdavia committee or any
Mehdavia society here, since decades individuals are organizing and
hosting the event, but since last some years Janab Syed Shahabuddin
“Murshid Miyan” is shouldering responsibility of hosting and
organizing Dugana Prayers continuously at his residence along with other
events by his own. I extend my Mubarak and good wishes for him and his
family.
In Jedddah, the Center of Islamic world, I sincerely extend my Greetings
to “The Committee Baraye Dair-e-Miranji AS of Jeddah” the President
Janab Mohammed Nusrath Sayeed Sahab (Ib-e-Arabi) , Treasurer Janab Syed
Ali Hussain Tersees Nusrathi (the host), Janab Syed Shiraz Khuda Bakhash
Danial Nusrathi Sahab (Moderator Universal_Mehdavis Group & author
‘Rituals after Death’), the office bearers their active and passive
members along with their well-wishers, etc. One of their biggest
achievements apart from the Publication of Mehdavia Literature is the
carrying of the Tableegh and practice of Mehdaviath in the kingdom of
Wahabiath. I also extend my Greetings to the Falah-e-Mehdavia Society,
Riyadh Chapter, their President, office bearers, active and passive
members along with their well-wishers etc. Their biggest achievement is
the culmination of various groups into one big umbrella society with
good heart.
Moreover, I extend my Greetings to Janab Syed Nadeem Khundmiri Sahab and
Mrs Syeda Aasia Nadeem Khundmiri Saheba for hosting and Organising
Dugana prayers in Kuwait. In UAE, The Farah Committee Emarat under its
young dynamic President (a role model for the Youth of this era) Janab
Syed Burhanuddin Rashed Khundmiri Sahab and his entire machinery of
office-Bearers, Sub-Committees, active and passive members along with
their well-wishers, etc are commendable for holding not only Dugana
Prayers but many events smoothly and hassle free in an organized manner
along with publication of Literature and inviting Mehdavia luminaries.
In United States of America, The Mehdavia Islamic Center of Chicago
(MICC) arranged Dugana prayer in Holiday-Inn Hotel for the sake of a big
spacious place, every year the number of worshippers are increasing
Alhamdu lillah, Peer-O-Murshid Hz Syed Nusrath Sahab Tashreefullahi lead
the prayers and addressed the gathering. MICC President Janab Mohammed
Rahmat Ali Khan Sahab, office bearers, members and well-wishers etc
along with their entire team are commendable for Organising Dugana
Prayers along with other events round the year continuously. Moreover,
Mr. Rahmath Ali Khan Sahab (President, MICC) requested the brethren to
write their name, telephone, email, and mail address along with other
details on the available Printed form and drop in the box, which would
be used to update the database of the Mehdavia community residing in
Chicago and they would be informed in advance regarding events of MICC
round the year. Mehdavis from Atlanta, South Carolina, Boston, New York,
Minnesota, Indiana, etc came in large numbers to offer the prayers
behind the Murshid especially.
In Texas, the organizers Janab Syed Masood Mustafa Sahab (Author), Janab
Syed Maqsood Mustafa, Janab Syed Khundmeer Azeem Sahab and Syeda Afsha
Azeem Saheba etc, are also commendable for organizing the prayer. In
Burbank, Janab Syed Ziaullah Sahab and Juveria Mehdi Saheba along with
others are Mubarak for organizing the prayers. Moreover I extend
greetings to the Brothers Syed Zeeshan Khundmiri, Syed Irfan Khundmiri
and Syed Faizan Khundmiri (sons of Janab Syed Mehmood Talib Khundmiri
‘renowned Architect’) and all those individuals also who are
involved in any manner at any stage and in any form. Apart from Chicago,
Dugana prayer were held at many places like New York, New Jersey,
Atlanta, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Texas etc.
In Toranto, Canada. I extend my sincere greetings to Janab Hasan Bozai
Sahab, Safdar Ali Khan Sahab, Mrs. and Mr. Mohammed Ashfaq Ahmed Sahab
and all the well-wishers for Organising and hosting the Dugana prayers
religiously. I thank my Respected Tutor, Syed Riaz Mehmood Yadullahi and
Mrs Dr. Syeda Atiya Mehmoodi Saheba their children S. Kashif Mehmood
Yadullahi and Syeda Raqshan Yadullahi. We sincerely pray Allah SWT to
bless in expanding the services for the development of the Mehdavia
community across Canada, which has a sizeable number of Mehdavis
dwelling in many cities and suburbs.
The Sydney based Islamic Mehdavia Community of Australia (IMCA) its
office bearers, members, well-wishers and individuals like the senior
most Janab Syed Shujauddin Sahab, Syed Zubair Maqsoosi, Syed Ali
Mustafa, Abdul Sameeullah Khan, Syed Obaid Mehdi, Syed Imtiaz, Syed
Dilawar etc are commendable along with individuals from other cities
like Melbourne and Brisbane etc.
In London, Brother Mohammed Mohsin, Syed Ibrahim ‘Haneef’, Dr
Basharat and others are commedable for organising the prayers in the
absence of Hz Syed Khundmeeri Sahab, some days back he left for India to
observe Ramzan in Hyderabad. In Pakistan, the Anjuman-e-Mehdavia and
Rabta Committee, Janab S.M.Jawaid Saeed Sahab, Janab Syed Fawad Mehdi
Sahab the members and well-wishers in Pakistan are commendable, we thank
the scholarly guidance of Janab Mohammed Namdar Khan Sahab provided to
us from time and again.
Mr.Mohammed Azam Ali Khan, Mohammed Bilal, Syed Jafar Asif of Dublin,
Republic of Ireland are also commendable and we thank S.J.Asif in
leading the prayer by the permission of his Murshid Qibla. Brothers
Janab Syed Esa Salami Sahab and Janab Syed Qasim Salami Sahab of Denmark
along with the brothers from Sweden are also mubarak for hosting the
event in Scandinavian land since last 3 years, and brothers from
Toulouse, Paris and other cities in France are also commendable for
successfully and religiously hosting Dugana ‘Lailathul Qadr’
Prayers.
During telephonic conversations with many of the Organisers and
individuals across the world, this khadim got to know, like earlier this
time also sizeable gatherings were recorded across the World in offering
Dugana prayers. Moreover, they said, largely the youth were in the
fore-front in organizing the event at many places. In some of the
gatherings new upcoming projects were disclosed for the public and a
need to form New Mehdavia community centers and societies were felt
seriously in many countries.
This humble Khadim extends his hearty greetings and congratulations to
one and all involved in any manner at any stage and in any form taking
part and share in organizing this prayer across the Globe, especially by
spending their hard earned halal Money, along with their precious time
and other services. Moreover I thank all the Moderators of Internet
groups and the web sites and their editors especially www.mahdavia.com/
for continuously displaying and updating messages from time to time
providing details of this prayer conducted globally.
As usual this year also the Committee Baraye Dair-e-Miranji AS of Jeddah
had invited Hz Syed Abdul Hai Sahab Moulvi Kamil of Channapatna and
organised religious discourses. Very soon the Peer-O-Murshid Qibla will
be visiting the tomb of the Noble Prophet SAS at Madina Munawwara along
with the members of the Committe and on 5th October he will leave for
India. The Farah Committee Emarath has invited Hz Allama Syed Abid
Khundmiri Sahab and arranged his religious discourses. Hz Syed Mohammed
Sarfaraz Sahab Tashreefullahi of Kachiguda was in Sydney, Australia and
he lead the Dugana prayer and religious gatherings were also hosted
utilizing his stay in Sydney. In Chicago (USA), Moulana Hz Syed Nusrath
Sahab Tashreefullahi (Ibn-e-Asad- Ul-Ulema RA) as usual lead the Dugana
prayers since years in Chicago (USA) organised by MICC, on this occasion
he spoke regarding the importance of the ‘Night of Power’. In
Pakistan, Hz Syed Meeran Shahab Sahab Yadullahi has lead the prayers in
Shahdadpur.
In India, Dugana Prayers were held across the country religiously and
good gatherings were recorded. In Musheerabad Hz Alhaj Syed Khundmir
Sahab Mujtehdi, Sajjada Daira Kalan ‘Bada Daira’ Hauz ki Masjid
Musheerabad had lead the huge congregation, his son and successor Hz
Alhaj Moulana Syed Ismail Tanveer Mujtehdi Sahab had lead the Dugana
congregation in their ancestral Mosque at “Daira Hz Bandagi Miran Syed
Shah Yaqub RZ ‘Hasan-e-Vilayath’ the 2nd Grandson of Imamuna Mehdi
AS at Daulatabad.
It is our duty to at least extend our solidarity not only with the
committees, Anjumans and Socities, but with all those individuals across
the globe, whose names are not mentioned here are also striving hard day
and night for the propagation of Mehdaviath.

QADR IN DENMARK
As
per the report sent by brother Mr.Syed Quasim Salami, Dugana-e-Lailatul
Qadr was offered in Denmark by Mahdavi brothers from Denmark and Sweden,
this was the first time they met each other. They made a resolution to
gather as much Mahdavis as possible for the Dugana Next year.

Dugana-e-Lailatul Qadr prayers were offered by the followers of Promised
Mehdi, Hazrat Syed Muhammad, Mehdi-e-Ma'ud, Alaihissalam, at
different cluster of Mahdavia community in North America, prominent
among them being Chicago, where the prayers are being led by Peer wo
Murshid Hazrat Moulana Abulfatah Syed Nusrat Qibla Tashreefullahi.
Dugana was also offered in New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, Los Angeles,
San Francisco, Houston-Texas and Toronto in Canada.

DUGANA-E-LAILATUL QADR IN SYDNEY
For the first time in the history of Australia, Mahdavis living there
offered Dugana-e-Lailatul Qadr, obligatory thanksgiving prayers, in
congregation under the Imamat of a young Murshid of Mahdavia community
from Hyderabad, India, Hazrat Moulana Syed Mohammad Sarfarz Mehdi
Tashreefullahi s/o Late Peer wo Murshid Hazrat Moulana Syed Abdul Hai
Sahab, alias Hafiz Mian Sahab RH Fazil Nagpur University and
nephew of Peer wo Murshid Hazrat Moulana Abulfatah Syed Nusrat Sahab
Tashreefullahi.
Large number of Mahdavis participated in the prayers organized by
Islamic Mahdavia Community of Australia, which was recently registered
with Australian Government.
