As per the announcement made by Peer wo Murshid Hazrat Maulana Abulfatah Syed Nusrat Sahab Qibla: "the New Moon of Ramzan 1436H was sighted on the 29th of Shaban by the Shahideen (Moon Sighting Volunteers) at multiple locations including:
at San Mateo by Syed Hasheer with family,
at Bakersfield by Syed Ateeq Mehdi,
at San Diego by Zubair Sindhi,
at Foster City by Hamza H Khan and
at Fremont, CA by Mahdavi students, in N America.
As such 1st of Ramzan-ul-Mubarak will be on Thursday, June 18, 2015 in N. America.


HYDERABAD, India.
The Holy Month of Ramzan will begin in Hyderabad from Friday as the crescent was NOT Sighted in the city or its surroundings on Wednesday night.

The Central Ruiyat-e-Hilal Committee announced that the Holy Month of Ramzaan will begin from Thursday night and the first Roza or fasting will be observed on June 19. The committee said that the moon was not sighted at Hyderabad or any other nearby cities or towns. Therefore, Thursday will be 30th of Shaban and the first Roza will be observed on Friday.

KARACHI,Pakistan.

The month of Ramazan will commence Friday, as per central Ruet-i-Hilal, Pakistan, as No Moon Sightings had been reported across the country.

"After careful consideration, and consuming appropriate time, the committee has decided that the holy month of Ramazan will be observed from Friday, June 19, after the crescent was not sighted across the country" the declaration said.

MECCA, Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia’s Supreme Court has announced that the first day of the Muslim holy fasting month of Ramadan will be Thursday June 18, Al Arabiya News Channel reported.

The Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia has asked citizens to keep an eye out for the crescent moon on Tuesday, which, if sighted, will mark the beginning of the month of Ramadan on Wednesday.

If the crescent is not sighted on Tuesday, fasting will begin Thursday.


Elsewhere in the Gulf, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar also announced a Thursday start for Ramadan.

The government of Yemen, similarly said the holy month would begin Thursday in their country.
