وَٱلْفُرْقَانِ ۚ فَمَن شَهِدَ مِنكُمُ ٱلشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ ۖ وَمَن كَانَ مَرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ ۗ يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ بِكُمُ ٱلْيُسْرَ وَلَا يُرِيدُ بِكُمُ ٱلْعُسْرَ وَلِتُكْمِلُوا۟ ٱلْعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَىٰكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
The month of Ramazan[is that] in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey – then an equal number of other days. Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful.
Surah Baqarah Ayat 185.

Hz. Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah ^PBUH said:
‏إِذَا دَخَلَ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ فُتِّحَتْ أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ وَغُلِّقَتْ أَبْوَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَسُلْسِلَتِ الشَّيَاطِين‏
When the month of Ramadan begins, the gates of the heaven are opened, the gates of Hellfire are closed, and the devils are chained.

Hazrath Imam Mahdi ^PBUH is narrated to have said that-” The nature of some of the aulia (saints or freinds of Allah) is like that of the scorpions and snakes, because if someone tries to hurt or trouble them, they immediately bite such people.Some saints were such that they would curse those that troubled them.But the apostles and perfect saints were like the fish. When somebody troubles the fish . it moves away and does not trouble the person who troubles it.Similarly the apostles and perfect saints endure the trouble.They even forgive and seek the salvation of those of those who trouble them.”

Ameer-Ul-Muminin Hazrath Ali -ul Murtuza ^Rz. ne farmaya ke-“Koshish karo ke tum duniya mein raho duniya tum mein na rahe, kyon ke Kashti jab tak pani mein rehti hai, khob tairti hai, lekin jab pani kashti mein aa jata hai to wo doob jati hai.”
