أَيَّامًا مَّعْدُودَٰتٍ ۚ فَمَن كَانَ مِنكُم مَّرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ ۚ وَعَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يُطِيقُونَهُۥ فِدْيَةٌ طَعَامُ مِسْكِينٍ ۖ فَمَن تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًا فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّهُۥ ۚ وَأَن تَصُومُوا۟ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ ۖ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
[Fasting for] a limited number of days. So whoever among you is ill or on a journey [during them] – then an equal number of days [are to be made up]. And upon those who are able [to fast, but with hardship] – a ransom [as substitute] of feeding a poor person [each day]. And whoever volunteers excess – it is better for him. But to fast is best for you, if you only knew.
Surah Baqarah Ayat 184

Hz. Talha ibn Ubayd ^Rz reported: Whenever the Messenger of Allah ^PBUH, saw the crescent moon, he would say:
اللَّهُمَّ أَهْلِلْهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالْيُمْنِ وَالْإِيمَانِ وَالسَّلَامَةِ وَالْإِسْلَامِ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكَ اللَّهُ
O Allah, bring it over us with blessings and faith, safety and Islam. My Lord and your Lord is Allah.

Hazrath Bandagi Miyan Syed Khundmir Siddique-E-Vilayath ^Rz.. has said:”There has come about a great change between the times of the Imam Alaihissalam and our times;if a dead body was brought before the Imam Alaihissalam,and the Imam Alaihissalam looked at the body,Allah would have forgiven that person and granted salvation to him. In our times,if the person was brought before us, he had to repent and die before us. And then Allah would forgive him.”

Hazrat Ali -ul Murtuza ^Rz said that:He who fights against the truth, the truth will defeat him.
